Comment faire
- Give each child an identical set of ten to fifteen bricks.
- Sit them back to back, or put a barrier between them.
- One builds something small and then describes it so the other can copy it.
- No looking, no gestures, words only.
- Compare the two builds, then swap roles.
Pourquoi c’est bon pour eux
When the copy comes out wrong, the reason is almost always an imprecise instruction, and children discover that themselves. It is the clearest demonstration of why words like on top of, behind and to the left of actually matter.
