- Set six stations around the garden: weave, crawl, jump, throw, balance, sprint.
- Walk the course together once so the order is clear.
- Time each run and write the times down.
- Let them try to beat their own time, not each others.
- After a few runs, let them redesign one station.

Beating a personal time rather than another child keeps effort high without the social cost of losing, and it makes improvement visible. Redesigning a station adds planning to what is otherwise purely physical.
