A car game with no equipment that genuinely fills an hour of motorway.

Ce qu’il vous faut

Rien du tout.

Comment faire

  1. One person starts a story and talks for one minute.
  2. They must stop mid-sentence and hand over.
  3. The next person continues from exactly that word.
  4. Anyone may introduce one new character or one problem per turn.
  5. Keep going until you arrive, then finish it in the last two minutes.

Pourquoi c’est bon pour eux

Stopping mid-sentence forces the next person to listen properly rather than planning their own turn, which is the hardest part of conversation for children. Sustaining one narrative across an hour also builds the sense of a story as a whole thing rather than a series of events.
